Status of diamond saw blade substrate technology

In recent years, the quantity of synthetic diamond used in stone processing industry has increased in a straight line, and its consumption accounts for about 90% of the total output of synthetic diamond in China. The diamond saw blade matrix in China is also mainly used in stone processing industry.

According to the classification of materials, at present, there are mainly three kinds of materials for the production of diamond saw blade matrix in China: 50Mn2V, 75Crl and 65Mn. Some low-end markets also use 45 × steel. 45 × steel is common carbon steel, 65Mn is common spring steel and 75Crl is high carbon alloy steel. In comparison, 50Mn2V is a kind of medium carbon alloy steel with fine grains, high thermal stability, high strength and toughness, fatigue resistance and heat resistance. The saw blade matrix of 50Mn2V material has the advantages of many times of re welding, long service life, not easy to deform after welding the blade head, easy to repair after deformation, etc. the product also has the effect of gradually increasing the rigidity in the use process, so 50Mn2V material is widely used in the processing and production of diamond saw blade matrix.

According to the classification of specifications, the base specification of domestic stone processing saw blade starts from ф 200mm, and the maximum is ф 3500mm (the specification of the largest circular saw blade in foreign countries is 5000mm). Among them, dp200-600ram is mainly used for cutting (edge cutting) processing of semi-finished plates; ф 650 and above are mainly used for forming and sawing processing of thick stone plates (columns) such as tombstones and tombstones, as well as sawing (plate) processing of waste materials. At present, ф 1600mm saw blade is the most commonly used matrix.

Because of the low technical content, the technical and quality requirements of ф 200-600mm saw blade matrix are not high. It is only required to be able to cut and use, and the products on the market tend to be homogeneous. At present, there are nearly 100 manufacturers of ф 200-600mm saw blade matrix in China. The main means of market competition is price competition. The industry competition is fierce and the profit is very low. Some domestic powerful enterprises have no intention to participate in this low-end market competition.

Compared with ф 200-600mm, the matrix with the specification of ф 650mm and above is more difficult to process, and the initial capital of the industry is more, and the threshold is higher. The quality and performance requirements of products are also high. At present, there are not many domestic manufacturers, less than 10, and the products show a certain degree of difference. The main means of market competition is non price competition. The quality of the products themselves, the stability of performance, the length of life and the quality of service play a key role in market competition. In Fujian, Guangdong and other southern regions, diamond saw blade matrix is generally used in groups, such as 10 pieces of ф 940mm, 10 pieces of ф L600mm, 5 pieces of ф 680mm, ф ll40mm and ф L600mm. The composite saw blade matrix is used to cut granite and marble plates in groups, which greatly improves the cutting efficiency and plate accuracy, saves more than 15% of power consumption, and also puts forward higher quality and performance requirements for the saw blade matrix itself.

With the increasing attention of the state to environmental protection, the shortage of mine waste material resources, the tight supply of electric power resources, the rising manufacturing costs of stone enterprises, and the intensified competition, some energy-saving, resource-based and environmental friendly saw blade matrices are more and more popular in the market, and some new features of customers' demand for saw blade matrices have emerged: thin slice, ultra-thin blade matrix, mainly based on the matrix For ф 1600mm matrix, the normal thickness is 7.3mm, the thickness below 6.5mm is called thin sheet matrix, and the thickness below 5.5mm is called ultra thin sheet matrix. Cutting granite and marble plates with thin and ultra-thin saw blade matrix can greatly improve cutting efficiency and the rate of raw material production, and reduce power consumption. For example, using 4.0mm thick ф 1600mm ultra-thin matrix can increase cutting efficiency by more than 10%, reduce power consumption by more than 20%, and increase the utilization rate of raw material by more than 16%.

Because the thickness and diameter of thin and ultra-thin diamond saw blade are thin, and the deformation is large during heat treatment, the heat treatment process is very important to control the flatness and HRC. At the same time, due to the thin thickness, it is very difficult to adjust the end jump and stress, including detection. Generally, it is difficult to achieve good results only by manual leveling and detection.
