The production equipment of foamed ceramics is mainly divided into two types: atmospheric foaming equipment and high pressure foaming equipment.

Atmospheric pressure foaming equipment

Atmospheric pressure foaming equipment is usually composed of foaming machine, dipping machine, oven, etc. The usual preparation method is to mix the raw material ingredients, add foaming agent and stabilizer, make foam, and then dry and sintering in the oven, and finally get foamed ceramic products. This equipment is usually suitable for the production of small batch, low cost, relatively simple foamed ceramic products.

High pressure foaming equipment

High-pressure foaming equipment, also known as reactive foaming equipment or vapor phase foaming equipment, is mainly composed of reaction kettle, compressor, foaming tank and other parts. In the preparation of foamed ceramics, foaming raw materials and foaming agents are added to the reaction kettle to form a gas-containing foaming body in the reaction kettle. Under the condition of high temperature and pressure, the foaming body is sent to the foaming tank through the compressor to generate porous artificial stone or porous insulation material. This equipment is suitable for the production of foamed ceramics in large quantities with high technological requirements.
