What are the classification features of polished concrete floor?  

According to the types of the original floor, polished concrete floor can be divided into 2 categories: newly applied floor and old renovated floor. Next, the new applied floor is mainly explained:  

Newly applied floor is to use premix cement or specific stone aggregate (such as pebble, granite, black basalt or ore, waste rock, etc.) mixed concrete, through ultra fine polishing processing, can present a more design and color effect.  

In the finishing stage of the surface layer, decorative aggregate such as shell, conch, glass and other fragments, or even metal car parts can be embedded in them, and the effect after polishing is very artistic, which helps to realize various creative designers.  

According to the glossiness of polishing floor, polishing concrete floor can be divided into: light burnish, medium burnish, mirror-like burnish 3 grades.  

1) Slight luster: generally suitable for industrial floors.  

2) Medium luster: generally used in office space, schools, hospitals and other indoor floors.  

3) Mirror-like luster: generally used in shopping malls, supermarkets and other indoor floors.  

Whether it is newly applied or using the original concrete base, the quality of the base is particularly important to the surface finish effect.  

The cracking of the base will lead to the cracking of the floor decorative surface layer, good quality and careful maintenance can effectively avoid the dust off the surface concrete base, cracking turtle grain and other situations, and then use the sealing hardener and polishing protection can achieve better results.
